The Chaplains of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department play a vital role in the life of the Department for both the active and active retired member as well as their families. 

The current nine Chaplains for the Department as well as past Department Chaplains bring a variety and depth of fire and rescue service experiences, pastoral experiences, and educational accomplishments to their daily efforts which are done on our behalf. Support, be it spiritual, emotional, or physical are key to doing the great things they do through their ministry of presence not pressure.
