The next Association Meeting will be held on September 10, 2025, at 6:30pm at FS40 and on Zoom. Instructions for logging into the meeting via Zoom will be sent out prior to the meeting and will be available on the Association website.

The next Association luncheon will be held at the Bungalow Lakehouse in Sterling, VA, on July 9, 2025, at 12:30pm. Hope to see you there.

11th Annual RF2C2 Gathering

Our 11th Annual Gathering will take place on Saturday, October 18th, 2025 from Noon-until ??? at Calli Baker's Firehouse & Grill.

The following will help with your planning for our activities this year.

Thursday, October 16th. We WILL NOT be doing the Barefoot Queen Dinner Cruise this year. Instead we have secured Group rates at one of North Myrtle Beach's premier venues; The Greg Rowles Legacy Theater. We'll enjoy 2 hours of first class entertainers. This isn't like Legends in Concert. The show is called "Music & Memories" A one-of-a-kind spectacle live musical celebration with world-class singers and musicians boasting a different show nightly. Cost is $34.00 per person. We have 50 seats saved for our group.

Saturday, October 18th. NO SATURDAY GOLF THIS YEAR. If you want to golf, there are plenty of courses to choose from. You are on your own.

Saturday, October 18th Noon until ??? Calli Baker's. 11th ANNUAL GATHERING. Eat, mingle, drink, tell lies. 50/50. The Coastal Carolina Shields Pipes & Drums will play outside. We will have our Quilts of Valor Ceremony and Memorial Service around 2 pm.

Sunday, October 19th: BRUNCH AT THE BRINKLEY’S Around 10ish. (come whenever you can!) Menu TBD 1205 Golfview Drive, North Myrtle Beach , SC 28582. Questions? Call or Text Kim 540-220-6846 .

Parking: Some driveway parking, Street parking on Golfview Drive, Norvall Street and Villa Drive, all four wheels on the pavement, in front of other homes, one side of street only please.

T-Shirts: Working on design. TBA soon! Colors this year will be ORANGE for men's crew neck tees, and PINK for women's v-neck.

Host Hotel: We have again secured the Holiday Inn Express Broadway At The Beach that we used last year. Room rates will be the same. $109.00 for 2 queens, $109.00 for king. + taxes. T-Shirt Information

T-Shirts for our 11th Annual Gathering, October 18th, 2025, are available for ordering.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Men's sized shirts are orange in color, crew neck shirts. Shirts are 50/50, we found they will shrink slightly.

Pricing for MEN crew neck T-shirts:

Women's sized shirts are pink in color, v-neck shirts. These shirts are 100% cotton and some shrinkage can be expected so it is recommended they be washed in cold water and dry on low heat. The example attached shows a crew neck pink shirt, but women's shirts WILL BE V-NECK.

The women's shirts are true to size (see below), not loose fitting but not fitted.

Below is the link to the women's shirt which includes a sizing chart located right below the ADD TO CART Green box to help ladies choose the appropriate size. The shirt for this year is the G500VL.

Edit to T-Shirts for 11th Annual Myrtle Beach Gathering.

Just wanted to pass on a slight edit we've made to this year's T-Shirt design. We believe it adds a more personal touch to the shirts and better represents our department.

On the design for the back of the shirts, we added FXCO to the SCBA and also the Fairfax County lettering as it would appear on the coats. These are small edits, but we felt it added that little extra personal touch to this year's shirts.

Sales for the shirts has been great. In just a week we've had 60+ orders. Thanks for the interest. See you all in October.
